The Portfolio Marketing Manager- Workplace is a marketing communications role in Softchoice’s Solutions & Alliances organization, focused on defining and communicating our strategic narrative aligned to our portfolios and helping our sales teams through clear, specific, and detailed marketing and informational collateral for Softchoice’s solutions.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Portfolio Marketing, you will work closely with Softchoice’s leadership team and solution development leads in Softchoice’s Workplace business unit.
The ideal candidate will offer excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a strong understanding of enterprise technology. Sales and consulting experience will be an added advantage.
What you’ll do:
- Identify priorities for Softchoice’s Workplace business unit in partnership with the BU leadership team.
- Develop a portfolio marketing content calendar based on the BU’s solutions roadmap and current business priorities.
- Interview subject matter experts to update existing portfolio marketing collateral and create new assets as required.
- Create positioning frameworks for all priority solutions to inform further content creation, including datasheets, customer presentations, and pages for our internal services directory called the Solutions and Services catalog.
- Prioritize and plan the creation of new collateral and communicate all content updates to the relevant business units and stakeholders – typically, sales, enablement, learning and development, BU leads, and category leads.
- Create planning and progress reports.
- Contribute to campaign planning, content review, and solution and service nomenclature.
- Design and manage brand awareness and lead generation campaigns, collaborating with the broader marketing organization to support business targets.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- 8+ years of experience in marketing communication, content marketing, or content creation role in the enterprise technology space.
- Project coordination and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Creative thinking with strong presentation ability.
- Deep understanding of the types of marketing collateral and the ability to write in distinctive styles for a range of audiences.
- Experience in writing briefs, creating positioning statements, developing messaging frameworks, and creating presentation talk tracks.
- A solution-focused team player capable of working autonomously in a remote setting.
- A natural curiosity along with the desire to share knowledge with others.
- Ability to communicate concisely and with the confidence to engage with our leadership team members.
