Overview
The Product Marketing Lead will define and drive Flare’s go-to-market product strategy, bringing tech-driven and best-in-class legal services to the masses. This role is the glue that binds our product strategy to activities that accelerate profitable growth and client satisfaction. You will collaborate with Product, Creative, Data, Sales and Customer Support to develop compelling messaging and positioning, marketing campaigns, first-of-its kind products, and actionable insights.
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience building winning product marketing strategies at consumer technology, software, or direct-to-consumer companies. This position reports to the VP of Marketing, has a seat at the table informing company-wide strategy, and oversees a high performing team of insights and product marketing managers.

Salary: $170,000 – $220,000 /year
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the global product marketing strategy by creating compelling and differentiating product messaging and positioning, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver the best legal experience possible.
- Champions the voice of the customer to build a client-centric product roadmap and ensure we continue to improve client satisfaction and retention.
- Lead rapid data-driven iterations to pilot and scale digital-first features, campaigns, and experiences.
- Partner with Product, Creative, Data, Sales and Customer Support to develop client feedback mechanisms, enhance the product offerings, and incorporate insights into sales, product and marketing strategies.
- Track the performance of product marketing activities on growth, engagement, and retention.
- Oversee our Insights team to develop competitive landscape, client and marketplace needs.
- Work closely with paid marketing to implement innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives to capture market attention and interest.
- Stay abreast of marketing trends and technologies that can enhance the marketing team’s efforts.
About you:
- Self-starter and proactive leader with 10+ years of building winning product marketing strategies.
- Strong past product marketing experience, preferably in U.S.-based consumer-facing digital products, SaaS, or marketplaces
- Exhibits a pragmatic “startup” mentality with a strong bias for short cycle execution, trial and error, and tactical decisiveness.
- Demonstrated experience in leading remote-based teams
- Highly pragmatic leader willing to drive both strategy and fast pace execution
- Proficiency in conducting market research and translating insights into actionable product marketing strategies.
- Ability to use data and analytics to inform marketing decisions and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
