Take Command
Take Command is a start-up on a mission to improve the healthcare system, starting with health insurance. Pragmatically speaking, we help employers reimburse employees for individual insurance instead of offering a traditional one-size-fits-all group plan. We believe this model can empower employees (when they have the right support) to be savvy healthcare consumers and have a transformative impact on the entire healthcare system.
Let’s be honest—health insurance is usually a confusing, frustrating, and even emotional experience for people. We want to fix that with a new model, great technology, and a superior user experience. We have made a great start, but we need your help to fully realize our long-term vision.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our team. As Product Marketing Manager at Take Command, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies and initiatives for our new benefits platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch and promotion of our products, driving awareness, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging and persuasive marketing content including, but not limited to, product collateral, blog posts, social media content, and email campaigns.
- Write effective email communications and create & manage campaigns in CRM platform.
- Develop clear and compelling product messaging that differentiates Take Command in the market.
- Develop sales enablement materials, such as presentations, case studies, and competitive analyses.
- Work closely with the sales team to provide them with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively sell our products.
- Collaborate in executing go-to-market plans for new product launches, working closely with product management, sales, and customer success teams.
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs.
- Use market insights to help inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the product team to understand product features, benefits, and unique value propositions.
- Define target audiences and customer segments, tailoring marketing strategies accordingly.

- 3+ years of product marketing experience, with a proven track record of success translating complex functionality into compelling language and material that is persuasive and easy to understand.
- Creative & content development capabilities. Experience in drafting and developing sales and marketing collateral.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with business development, sales, customer success, and product management teams.
- Experience with marketing automation & CRM software (HubSpot) preferred.
- Presentation skills and experience – comfortable interacting with stakeholders at different levels (clients, leadership team, technical team members, etc.).
