Job Summary

The NetApp Product Marketing group seeks a Product Marketing Manager with strong written/oral communication skills and great project management skills. The ideal candidate will contribute to the successful launches of new products into the market (go-to-market; GTM) for NetApp. Working with other Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) and leaders, this position will help implement launch plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including corporate marketing (e.g., digital, creative, AR, PR, campaigns, etc.), and coordinate efforts to ensure product/portfolio launch success.


Responsibilities

  • Co-develop, execute and implement product launch plans, assisting with go-to-market strategies and field activation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product marketing leadership, to ensure successful product launch and post-launch activities; ensure stakeholder communications for a predictable and understandable launch process;
  • Strong project management skills; work with PMMs to ensure deliverables required for GTM activities in a timely and reportable way.
  • Manage communication plans for all stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Create and manage budgets for product launches.
  • Drive post-launch activities, including gathering executive and field feedback.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track launch performance and success; ensure learnings are incorporated into future launch plans and workflows; strong ability to understand data and develop metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, product marketing, or marketing communications roles.
  • Strong project management skills; experience in developing and executing successful project plans.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; graphics skills and/or advanced PowerPoint skills a plus.
  • Proven ability to think and act strategically; see challenges and opportunities as they occur.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in managing budgets and analyzing market trends where product launches occur.
  • Demonstrates a strong sense of continuously seeking new knowledge and actively exploring innovative solutions.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $123000 – $173000 and will be determined by the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience, and education. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU’s), with all offerings subject to regional variations and governed by local laws, regulations, and company policies.
