Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $70,500.00 – $94,500.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)


We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Product Marketing Strategist to support the market success of our Commercial Business solutions. You will help execute go-to-market plans, create impactful sales and marketing content, and collaborate across teams to launch new solutions and support integrated campaigns that articulate our value and drive client demand.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills, with a proven ability to craft compelling narratives and create high-quality marketing and sales collateral. This individual has a demonstrated understanding of B2B sales cycles and the types of content, tools, and training that support sales success. Strong organizational and project management skills are required, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the proven ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams. An ability to grasp complex business concepts and use data and customer insights to make informed, strategic recommendations is essential. The candidate should be a motivated self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, capable of taking initiative and seeing projects through to completion.

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to help execute go-to-market plans, create impactful sales and marketing content, and collaborate across teams to launch new solutions and support integrated campaigns that articulate our value and drive client demand.

Essential Functions

  • Support the execution of tactical go-to-market (GTM) plans, developed with the Marketing Team Lead, for new product launches and feature updates
  • Help to shape and maintain the product positioning and messaging that differentiates our commercial solutions and translate technical features into clear, client-centric value propositions and benefits
  • Act as the marketing subject matter expert (SME) for your assigned product portfolio, maintaining a deep understanding of the product’s functionality, target audience, buyer personas, and the competitive landscape
  • Develop and maintain a library of sales enablement collateral, such as product datasheets, case studies, and competitive battle cards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to help shape materials like sales pitch decks
  • Partner directly with the Commercial Sales and Account Management organizations to understand their needs, gather feedback from the front lines, and ensure they are equipped to effectively communicate our product’s value in every client interaction
  • Work with product teams to plan, develop, and deliver compelling training sessions and materials for sales and other internal teams on new product capabilities, market positioning, and competitive differentiation
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and owner for all marketing content related to your product set; manage the content lifecycle from ideation and creation to curation, updates, and performance analysis
  • Collaborate with channel marketing partners to integrate product messaging into broader marketing campaigns, ensuring a consistent and compelling narrative across all customer touchpoints
  • Support the content strategy by helping plan and fuel the content calendar for product-focused pieces like blog posts, whitepapers, and webinars that engage target audience
  • Conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats, using these insights to inform and refine messaging, content, and sales strategies
  • Work with commercial teams to track and measure the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and sales enablement tools, reporting on performance and making data-driven recommendations for optimization
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Strong knowledge of marketing, including knowledge of best practices
  • Ability to conduct ongoing market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats, using these insights to inform and refine messaging, content, and sales strategies
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 3+ years marketing or corporate project management experience required
  • 3+ years’ experience developing digital marketing content, branding, communications, or other marketing initiatives required
  • 2+ years’ experience in a product marketing capacity preferred
  • Experience in the financial services, FinTech, or a related regulated industry preferred
  • Hybrid Schedule: In office 3 days per week
  • Level of role is determined by knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education

This compensation range is for the Marketing Strategist I & II – Commercial job and contemplates a wide range of factors that are considered in determining most appropriate job level and making compensation decisions, including but not limited to location, skill sets, education, relevant experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $70,500 – $94,500 annually.
