As the IT Project Manager specializing in Marketing Automation, you will be the key orchestrator driving the successful implementation of multiple marketing automation tools within our client’s organization. This role requires a seasoned project manager with a strong IT background, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of marketing processes. You will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end implementation process, ensuring seamless integration, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize marketing operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the implementation of various marketing automation tools from initiation to completion.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all project-related activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to understand their automation requirements and objectives.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure technical feasibility and compatibility of marketing tools with existing systems.
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Manage relationships with marketing automation tool vendors.
  • Coordinate vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ensure vendor deliverables align with project goals.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Proactively address challenges and roadblocks to keep the implementation on track.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather feedback and iterate on configurations as needed.
  • Develop training programs for end-users to maximize the utilization of marketing automation tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, key metrics, and areas of improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a focus on marketing automation tool implementations.
  • Strong understanding of marketing processes and strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with various marketing automation tools and their integrations.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
