The Opportunity:

TrueCar seeks a creative, resourceful, and detail-oriented Senior B2B Marketing Manager to support the Dealer team. Our dual-sided marketplace requires us to serve our consumers and provide the best in class products and services for our Dealers to grow their businesses.
This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to drive lead generation, brand awareness, and bringing new products to market for our Dealer partners – as well as working closely with our Dealer Sales and Service teams This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, conducting market research, and utilizing various marketing channels to reach target audiences. You will support the Dealer Marketing team across multiple integrated brand programs, email engagement, and strategic initiatives, with a focus on mid-funnel lead generation. In this role, you will actively participate in project management, leadership reviews, quality assurance, and the measurement of all Dealer marketing programs.

How you’ll contribute to TrueCar’s success:

  • Develop comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to build, execute, and own high-impact B2B marketing campaigns that accelerate growth and deepen the strategic relationship with TrueCar Dealers.
  • Build compelling content including case studies, white papers, emails/newsletters, blog posts, and social media content in key dealer media to create dealer awareness and engagement with TrueCar products and tools and value proposition. .
  • Development and procurement of sales materials that help our Sales and Service team promote and sell TrueCar including pitch deck, collateral, and swag.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate methods to advance dealer brand positioning in the marketplace. Ensure consistency to maximize dealer brand value.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute lead-generation initiatives.
  • Develop and implement efficient multi-channel acquisition marketing plans.
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research activities to create dealer brand messaging strategies that motivate and connect with potential consumers, identifying opportunities for promotion and growth.
  • Provide analysis and evaluations of all major marketing programs and campaigns to identify trends and optimize marketing strategies. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust marketing strategies as necessary.
  • Prepare regular performance reports and presentations on marketing metrics for senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and strategic partners.
  • Drive booth presence and sponsorship at industry trade shows and conferences, such as NADA, etc.
  • Development of awards and recognition programs for top-performing dealers.

Your Expertise:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Strong project management skills, including large events, coordinating marketing collateral for sales, service and partnership teams, etc.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking with the ability to compile objective and measurable results-oriented data regarding marketing efforts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong public speaking skills at customer events.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (i.e Salesforce).
  • Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.

Base salary: $130,000 – $160,000
