It is Ireland’s largest exporter of Irish dairy products, exporting to 110 countries worldwide. Ornua is structured across two divisions: Ornua Foods and Ornua Ingredients. Ornua Foods North America is responsible for the sales and marketing of Ornua products including butter, butter spreads, cheese and cream liqueur under the Kerrygold brand for the United States, Canada and Latin American markets.

The Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing brand strategies to drive growth, increase market share, and enhance brand equity. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in brand management, marketing and consumer insights within the CPG food industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful brand management and a passion for the food industry. The role requires a team player with the ability to work cross-functionally and should have a proven track record of successfully managing and influencing key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- P&L ownership
- Brand Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive brand strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Market Analysis: Analysis of Category/Shopper data along with Consumer insights to identify consumer trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities.
- Portfolio Management: Manage product lifecycle from innovation, launch, growth, maturity to decline, ensuring alignment with business objectives & brand strategy
- Go to Market Strategy: Lead the Sell in of NPD in collaboration with PMO, Marketing & Sales. Set and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of go-to-market strategies, adjusting tactics as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, social media, and traditional channels, to build brand awareness and engagement.
- Budget Management: Manage brand budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximization of ROI.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to senior management
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, R&D, and agency partners, to drive brand initiatives.
- Brand Communication: Ensure consistent and effective brand messaging across all touchpoints, maintaining brand integrity and voice.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Experience: Min 5-7 years of brand management experience in the CPG food industry.
