Prime Therapeutics
The Senior Writer is responsible for crafting, editing and managing the development of brand messaging, member communications, websites, sales collateral and other content for a variety of business or consumer facing communications.
Responsibilities
- Write marketing copy designed to grab a reader’s attention while successfully promoting Prime’s products and services; simplifying complex terminology into easy to read and understand communication
- Collaborate with marketing account managers, graphic designers and business partners to complete projects within tight deadlines
- Review and distill creative briefs and deliver original thinking and messages to ensure that copy makes a compelling argument for the products/services it promotes
- Leverage knowledge of Prime’s business to translate complex business strategies into well-articulated value propositions and creative, effective marketing communications
- Work with an internal creative team to ensure copy maintains the proper brand voice and style guidelines to comply with corporate branding standards
- May assign incoming work to writers in alignment with skills, experience and level of complexity; provide work direction, review, and proof copy to ensure brand consistency
- May provide backup proofreading support
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, creative writing, advertising or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
- 5 years of writing experience at an internal or external agency
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
Additional Qualifications
- Exceptional verbal and written communications skills, with a professional portfolio demonstrating business to business and business to consumer writing
- Detail orientation with strong proofing skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Word
- Previous experience writing in healthcare industry
- Previous experience with print and digital campaigns

Reporting Structure
- Reporting to Manager in the Marketing – Brand department
Potential pay for this position ranges from $74,500.00 – $111,700.00 based on experience and skills. Pay range may vary by 8% depending on applicant location.
