TGD is looking for an experienced copywriter to join our creative studio team. This is a full-time gig, where you’ll be writing and ideating for a broad range of work across a few major brand accounts. That means we need someone who’s comfortable in an agency workflow, can flex between production and high-concept with ease, loves a deadline, and combines a mega-strong POV with an even stronger sense of humor. Responsibilities:
- Write in a consistent tone and voice for all agency work.
- Embrace a conversational/casual writing style for decks.
- Write short-form copy for ad, marketing and design projects.
- Occasionally write for video & animation.
- Periodically research, develop outlines, and write long-form content for brands.
- Ideate, develop, and write concepts in collaboration with Art Directors, Designers, CDs.
- Work together with creative team, as well as strategy and account services.
- Establish messaging frameworks for brands and campaigns.
- Proofread & fancy up copy in decks.
Qualifications:
- 4-7+ years of experience in a similar role (less experience will be considered based on skillset/samples).
- Ability & enthusiasm for pitching/defending off-the-wall but on-brief ideas internally and externally.
- Experience writing for B2C & B2B audiences in addition to adhering to brand style guides.
- Enterprise tech brand experience required.
- Understanding of the creative process from concept to final delivery.
- Impeccable grammar with an understanding of how and when to break the rules.
- Knowledge of production processes in related disciplines (digital, social, etc.).
- Familiarity with the entertainment and gaming industry a plus.
- Experience working in Figma a plus.
- Background in comedy/improv is a plus.
