Job Description:
Essential Functions:
- Cultivate productive relationships with sales and agency leadership to ensure product integration across various consumer touchpoints and marketing programs.
- Provide valuable input into product development and service offerings and actively contribute to their creation to launch in store and on-line, and performance tracking in target markets.
- Formulate, maintain and execute effective marketing strategies that align with the organization’s key objectives.
- Development of comprehensive advertising campaigns, working with both internal and external creative agencies, in support of all A Launches.
- Execute comprehensive and cohesive online and offline marketing initiatives including media, email, print, social media, influencer marketing, PR, company websites, brand awareness campaign and promotional displays.
Responsibilities:
Marketing
- Develop annual brand plans to drive key business objectives and actionable results.
- Execute compelling marketing campaigns by leveraging insights from current market trends and from previous campaign results.
- Develop new product launch plans, emphasizing key benefits and messages for use by PR, Marketing and Sales. Craft relevant launch and promotional materials.
- Create and oversee impactful influencer campaigns, ensuring the achievement of target KPIs.
- Contribute to content creation for corporate marketing collateral, website, blog, social media, and various other initiatives.
- Offer support in the preparation of press releases, sales and retailer presentations, and participation in events and conferences.
- Track consumption of business segments and shipments vs annual goals. Keep a watchful eye on competition. Perform internal reporting on new product progress and handle additional assigned duties as necessary.
- Manage 1-2 direct reports
Project management
- Take ownership of all project facets, encompassing deadline adherence, time management, contingency planning, approval processes, budget management, campaign analysis, and monitoring procedures.
- Define and communicate the project scope, strategy, and objectives clearly to internal clients, the production team, and key leadership. Report on progress.
- Oversee the creative production of marketing assets for both online and offline channels, including graphic design, video production, and web development. This involves guiding the process from initial concept brief writing to the final product and execution.
Market Research and Competitive Intelligence
- Track the products and services offered by key competitors; communicate products and services differentiation to sales and provides input to senior leadership. Conducts product and field audits quarterly and competitive PR and Social sweeps.
- Conduct consumer research of both brand equity and new product concepts
Required Skills
- Creative thinker, excellent listener and communicator
- 5-7 years of professional marketing experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization comfortably.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities at one time –to deliver results on time and in or under budget.
- Experience working closely in sales, internal creative and internal social and digital operations.
- Experienced with web conferencing tools, expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Intuitive, Proactive, Collaborative, Leader, Driver, Creative Problem Solver, Analytical and Versatile
- Ability to travel (3-4x a year)
- Master’s degree in marketing
- Beauty experience preferred
