Position Summary
The Senior Manager, Social Media will be responsible for driving the social strategy for our brand by developing breakthrough social media strategies, campaigns and content to engage and grow our communities, while delivering on business objectives. You will report to the Director, Brand Activation and partner with both internal teams and external agencies to define short and long-term social media strategies and develop and deploy social media campaigns, content, analytics, reporting, community growth targets, and social media processes for the organization. You will oversee the social media agency and lead the social media team internally, leading objectives, priorities, and managing performance. You will be the leader of social media for the brand responsible to set direction and fully leverage the potential of the channel to drive brand growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and lead comprehensive social media strategies to drive brand engagement and achieve business objectives.
- Plan, manage, and execute social media strategies across all major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest), ensuring timely delivery and high-impact content.
- Monitor social and competitive trends, analyze campaign performance, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Oversee content ideation, creation, editing, and copywriting, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and creative priorities.
- Lead community management and outreach strategies to foster active consumer conversations, education, and engagement.
- Directly manage relationships with agencies and vendors to set objectives, scope work, and manage performance in line with brand goals.
- Coach, mentor, and manage direct reports focused on community management and social media content creation.
- Collaborate with internal partners to advise on the role of social media to drive brand goals, and proactively propose opportunities to leverage social media for growth.
- Drive the development and execution of breakthrough video and social-first content to increase brand visibility and relevance.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business or its equivalent.
Certification: None.
Experience: 8+ years of experience working in social media marketing, including 3+ years as the social media lead for a consumer brand.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Requires:
- Strategic thought leadership to build evergreen and campaign social media strategies that align to brand and business goals.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytics skills, with the ability to synthesize data and provide recommendations, experience with social listening platforms and content analysis.
- Fluency to brief, guide, and execute creative and strategic variables that drive reach and engagement across all social media platforms.
- Demonstrated experience managing both agency partners and internal content creators to generate breakthrough video content.
- Willing and able to directly contribute to content creation including ideation, scripting, editing video content, and acting/speaking in social media content on behalf of the brand.
- Ability to manage projects and teams to deliver against multiple priorities and deliverables through excellence in project management and social media calendar management.
- Strong ability to direct social media strategy through to execution.

SALARY RANGE
National Target Base Pay Range: $96,000.00 – $162,000.00. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and New York metro the Target Base Pay Range is $106,000 – $180,000, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.
