A Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the College of Design, Art & Performance’s programming. They conduct market research, analyze consumer behavior, and identify target audiences. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, advertising, and public relations. They also track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing efforts, adjust strategies as needed. They will lead, provide guidance and support to the College’s unit marketing liaisons. A Senior Marketing Specialist typically has extensive experience in marketing and a deep understanding of various marketing channels and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and coordinates the marketing across all Schools/units to ensure continuity and consistency in branding in social media and other outlets. Will introduce innovative ideas and lead the implementation across the College
  • Leads, guides and supports the College’s unit marketing liaisons..
  • Produces marketing communications, including promotional publications, presentations, advertisements, or brochures.
  • Reviews and edits messages to ensure that they are clear, thorough, on-brand, and seek to preserve the company’s image.
  • Suggests ways of tailoring messages and delivery channels based on the targeted audience.
  • Will manage the client relationship with marketing firms and printers/suppliers.
  • Collects data on the performance of specific communications or campaigns.
  • Administers and executes promotions through all available digital marketing channels
  • Contributes to web site content as needed.
  • Gathers and evaluates web analytics and metrics to be used for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all digital programs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of three (3) years of related experience
  • Senate Bill 1310- The Florida Senate ( https://www.flsenate.gov/Session/Bill/2023/1310) is conditional upon meeting all employment eligibility requirements in the U.S.
  • SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements
