The Senior Product Manager of Thoracic Patient Marketing is a key member of the US Business Unit who will lead and execute all patient and caregiver-facing tactics for the launch of Optune Lua in NSCLC. The SPM will be responsible for driving brand awareness amongst patients and delivering compelling educational materials to help patients start and stay on therapy. They will work closely with a multitude of cross-functional partners including Commercial Insights, Digital Marketing, Advocacy, Patient experience, Corporate Relations, Legal, Medical Affairs and Business Operations to ensure full organizational alignment with the commercialization strategy for the Optune Lua.

This is a full-time, exempt, and remote position reporting to the Director of Thoracic Marketing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Develops and executes patient and caregiver marketing strategies and tactics for the launch and growth of Optune Lua
  • Leads and implements the patient brand platform including positioning, targeting, messaging and creative campaign as needed
  • Partners with the digital marketing team to lead all patient-facing websites, paid media, social media, and DTC advertising including channel prioritization and budget allocation
  • Partners with the patient experience team to think through the patient journey and create resources to help patients start and stay on therapy
  • Manages the creative agency of record and promotional budgets and evaluates brand performance to ensure cost-effective allocation of resources
  • Proactively considers/identifies new strategies, tactics and vendors to challenge the team’s thinking and raise the level of performance, ultimately finding ways to do more with less
  • Understands trends in the marketplace, competitive environments and customer needs to continually evolve the patient marketing plan
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of promotional programs through brand KPIs and other metrics to ensure positive return on investment and achievement of brand objectives

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functionally and often in situations without direct authority
  • Exhibits a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy for the patient experience
  • Experience developing a strategy and an integrated plan to achieve and measure the impact of the pull through
  • Strong commercialization experience that has yielded an understanding of the activities, regulations, and processes required for successful product marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, exceptional listening skills, strong presentation skills, and good negotiating and influencing skills
  • Operates quickly and decisively in a fast-paced, demanding innovative environment
  • Demonstrated ability to be resourceful in an entrepreneurial work environment, which includes ability to roll up sleeves and lead or contribute to a project in a direct capacity
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience in healthcare industry marketing in either pharmaceuticals or medical device
  • A minimum of 3 years in Marketing working with healthcare professionals or patients
  • Launch experience is highly preferred
  • Experience marketing in the US market preferred
  • Corporate vs. agency marketing preferred
  • Advanced business degree such as an MBA desirable
  • 2 Years Oncology, Immunology, Neurology, or Hematology experience preferred
