We’re looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own our analyst relations motion. As part of the Product Marketing team you will understand market insights to drive product messaging and positioning, go-to-market strategies, while influencing demand generation campaigns to drive product growth. The customers that we’re heavily focused on will range from data architects to data engineers, to CTOs/CDOs, and emerging tools and processes that they are interested in. The role partners closely with product, sales, design, communications, and analytics.

This is a full-time position available to remote employees ideally in EST or GMT time zones.

What You’ll Do

  • Own our Analyst Relations strategy and execution, which includes:
    • Build and maintain a proactive calendar of inquiries, briefings and document reviews
    • Prepare for all calls by building world-class decks for our executives and ensuring they are prepped,
    • Drive additional calls for all PMMs to get feedback on messaging,
    • Regularly share out insights and findings, owning and delivering our submissions for MQ, Wave and other report submissions
    • Know all aspects of our product deep enough to be able to lead calls yourself
    • Attend analyst events
    • Prepare sales materials and company read-outs on our AR performance
    • Understand the Fivetran platform offering at a deep level and communicate our differentiators and USPs to industry analysts
  • Own our external marketing positioning – i.e. website and updating of marketing verified stats.
  • Support our larger event strategy and execution. You will be responsible for partnering with folks across Regional Marketing in EMEA as well as the US to ensure we show up at events with our best foot forward. This includes creating and reviewing event decks, abstracts, demos and more.
  • Serve as expert PMM on ad hoc projects. Outside of your work with AR, there will be projects, launches and initiatives that we’ll need you to jump in, roll your sleeves up and help us tackle.
  • Work with key cross-functional leaders to develop our messaging and positioning in the market
  • Building new processes and refining others not only for themselves but across the larger PMM and alliances org and the business
  • A go-to for any written communication from Fivetran – can easily and quickly write on-brand, factual content and thought leadership pieces from not only their area of business but across the foundational areas of Fivetran
  • Highly skilled public speaker: engaging, concise and able to effectively adjust communication styles across executives, leadership, and team meetings
  • Mines data to find new opportunities for projects, unknown gaps, etc.

Skills We’re Looking For

  • Experience with Analyst Relations. You have experience working with technology analyst relations companies like Gartner and Forrester. You come with a wealth of stakeholder management expertise and the ability to manage external partners.
  • Data Industry experience. You are either versed in all things data, have formerly been an analyst, or have been a major industry that made heavy user of data & insights—think marketing, finance, customer support, or sales.
  • In-person, virtual, and written communication prowess. You will be working with users, product managers, sales and marketing at Fivetran across the world. You have deep empathy for users and are able to adapt how you communicate to reach and engage your audience regardless of medium. You excel at verbal and written communication, knowing how to repurpose marketing material into different mediums while ensuring consistency in messaging & value proposition.
  • Hungry & ready to dive in. Fivetran is moving, growing, and changing quickly, it is an environment you embrace. You will be exposed to a lot of different projects and are excited to roll up your sleeves and get stuff done.
  • Highly-organized with a project management track record. You’ll be coordinating projects and work streams across many different teams, responsible for collecting and maintaining customer materials and research. You will help us up level not only the quality of work we produce but the amount and accessibility of it.

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the target position and level. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Our job titles may span more than one career level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, business need, market demands. This range represents base salary only and does not include incentive for sales roles, equity, or benefits, if applicable.

Pay Range

$158,400—$198,000 USD
