Christ Church
The Social Media Coordinator will help develop and implement the social strategy for Christ Church, Christ Church Butterfield, and Christ Church Kids. Their skills, experience and knowledge will be critical to grow our reach and engagement within our digital communities. The Social Media Coordinator will collaborate with the communication and ministry teams to foster places of conversation with those who have yet to know, love and follow Jesus, as well as inspire, equip and empower those who call Christ Church their home.

Essential Functions
- Grow awareness, reputation, and online visual identity for Christ Churchand Christ Church Kids
- Manage audience engagement and perceptions; and identify threats
- Create actionable social media campaign plans, including digital ads, stories across all platforms [ i.e. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn]
- Collaborate with Executive Director of Worship Arts & Communications and Digital Coordinator to set goals and determine objectives to fulfill campaign goals and overall social strategy
- Work closely with Art Director to uphold brand identity and standards
- Create a regular publishing schedule to manage content across all platforms
- Oversee the day-to-day management of campaigns across all platforms
- Attend worship services, gatherings, groups and events to capture pictures and details about the experiences to share on social media and website
- Create and curate engaging content to gain new followers and engage existing followers
- Create and identify relevant, high-quality media for posting, copywrite and design posts for social media platforms
- Track and analyze social media data to measure campaigns, posts, content trends, effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with Communications teammates to ensure continuity of Christ Church’s visual and written identity
- Monitor and respond to comments, and engage followers in conversation

Qualifications
ADDITIONAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 2–5 years of social media management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field
- Skilled in photography, video editing software, Google Analytics, etc.
- Experience in a large church or nonprofit organization a plus
