Jacob & Co., a leader in the luxury watch and jewelry industry, is looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Manager to handle day-to-day social media activities across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, X, and WhatsApp Community. This role will play a critical part in engaging with our community, optimizing content performance, and driving our brand’s digital presence forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Social Media Management: Manage day-to-day operations for Jacob & Co’s social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, X, WhatsApp Community), including scheduling content for both the main account and the dedicated jewelry account.
  • Content Creation: Design and create various visuals for posts and stories that complement Jacob & Co’s timepieces. Ensure that all graphics, images, and videos are visually impactful, on-brand, and aligned with the luxury aesthetic of the brand, while driving engagement and reinforcing key campaign messages.
  • Content Performance Tracking & Analysis: Analyze and report on content performance across all platforms. Use data insights to identify patterns, adjust strategies, and contribute recommendations to enhance social media engagement.
  • Community Management: Engage with followers and manage comments across platforms to foster a vibrant, active community.
  • Influencer Analysis & Strategy: Analyze influencer statistics to determine what content performs best and categorize influencer content by account type. Identify patterns of success and areas for improvement.
  • Influencer Discovery: Research and discover new influencer opportunities to expand Jacob & Co’s network, contributing to the overall social strategy.
  • Caption Writing & Fact-Checking: Write and fact-check captions for Jacob & Co’s various accounts, including @JacobandCo, @Jacobarabo, and @jacobandco_jewelry, ensuring messaging is on-brand and accurate.
  • Content Distribution: Effectively categorize and distribute content depending on influencer type and platform strategy.
  • Approval of Tagged Posts: Monitor and approve tagged posts from users, influencers, and brand ambassadors, ensuring all tagged content aligns with Jacob & Co’s brand values and guidelines before reposting or engaging.
  • Report Generation: Create and present regular reports to track key metrics, campaign performance, influencer impact, and engagement trends. Generate insights for social campaigns, events, and activations to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Support Brand Events & Initiatives: Assist with social support for brand events, activations, photo shoots, and other marketing initiatives to ensure seamless digital integration.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of social media best practices across platforms, especially Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, with the ability to utilize each to build a community and engage fans.
  • Trend & Keyword Research: Ability to conduct research on market trends, social media developments, and keywords to keep Jacob & Co at the forefront of relevant content.
  • Trend Spotting: Stay up-to-date with Instagram and TikTok trends to ensure content remains fresh, engaging, and on-brand.
  • Communication & Organization: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, paired with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proactive Mindset: A self-starter with the ability to identify new social opportunities, explore collaborations with emerging creators, and keep Jacob & Co ahead in the influencer space.
