We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team and help shape a consistent, engaging digital brand presence.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Content Creation & Publishing
    • Develop and maintain social media content calendars across three related brands and various brands, ensuring alignment with business goals, promotions, and service launches. Supplement with personal-brand content for key organizational ambassadors, including physicians and executives, for the benefit of Vanguard.
    • Plan, create, and publish engaging and brand consistent multimedia content (video, photography, copy) across social platforms, using independent and sound judgment to determine tone, format, and timing.
    • Capture content, interview providers, and document events across multiple clinic locations.
    • Support practice initiatives and community events by producing promotional contentand providing real-time coverage on social channels.
    • Build and maintain a digital library of reusable photo, video, and testimonial content for ongoing campaigns.
    • Ensure all content complies with HIPAA, advertising regulations, and internal brand standards.
  • Engagement & Brand Reputation
    • Develop engagement strategies to strengthen relationships patient relationships, build followers, and expand digital reach.
    • Identify and collaborate with community partners and brand advocates to expand reach.
    • Oversee social listening, ensuring timely, professional, and brand consistent responses to comments, messages, and reviews. Escalate sensitive issues to leadership as needed.
  • Analytics & Optimization
    • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, proactively recommending innovative tactics to improve reach and engagement.
    • Track and analyze performance metrics across all platforms, preparing monthly dashboards with actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaboration & Logistics
    • Partner with Marketing Coordinator and leadership team to design and execute integrated marketing campaigns that highlight services, providers, events, and community initiatives.
    • Serve as the subject matter expert on social media, advising leadership on best practices, risks, and opportunities.
    • Contribute to cross-departmental projects, providing strategic input on digital engagement and patient outreach efforts.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
    • 2+ years of professional experience managing social media for a brand, business, or agency.
    • Demonstrated track record of leading campaigns that resulted in measurable growth in reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Technical
    • Advanced proficiency with major platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok) and understanding of platform specific algorithms.
    • Strong command of social media management and analytics tools.
    • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software to create and deliver high-quality content (Canva required; CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar preferred).
  • Analytical & Planning
    • Ability to exercise sound, independent judgement in developing and executing multi-channel campaigns that align with business objectives.
    • Ability to interpret data, build performance dashboards, and present actionable insights.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance strategic responsibilities with hands-on execution.
  • Collaboration & Alignment
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft clear, compelling messages

Schedule

  • This is a full-time, exempt position based on a standard Monday–Friday business schedule (typically 40–45 hours per week).
  • The role requires flexibility to adjust/surge hours during major campaigns, events, or high-volume periods; occasional evenings or weekends may be necessary to support live event coverage, community initiatives, or urgent content needs.
  • Travel to clinic locations and community events will be required, with advance notice provided whenever possible.

Location

Based at Vanguard HQ (12320 Oracle Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80921). Must be willing to drive across multiple offices and locations for content creation as needed.

Reviews

Vanguard Skin Specialists believes in providing regular feedback and encouraging professional development. Your first check in with HR will be approximately 90 days from your date of hire. Written annual reviews for exempt positions takes place every January.

Benefits

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary is $54,000 to $58,000 paid in 24 payroll installments.

Benefits include paid time off, medical, vision, dental, and 401K with employer match.

Physical Working Conditions

  • Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting with frequent use of a computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
  • Requires extended periods of sitting, typing, and screen time up to 10 hours/day.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, carry, and transport equipment and promotional materials up to 30 lbs.
  • Regular travel between clinic locations and occasional off-site events; reliable transportation is required.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
  • Must be on site in busy medical settings and loud events with diverse group of people.
  • Visual, hearing, and verbal capacity sufficient to perform design, editing, and content creation tasks from beginning to end.
  • Must be able to drive to multiple locations.
