Syneos Health is currently seeking a mid/senior level Digital and Social Media Strategist for our Digital and Social Strategy (DSS) team in our New York office. This team member will oversee the day-to-day operations and execution of insight-driven digital and social media engagement strategies for assigned healthcare client accounts and new business development. This role is a hybrid role, 1-2 days in the nyc office.
Responsibilities
- Lead and/or assist on the digital and social strategy aspects for several client accounts, including building strategic digital and social media communications plans and integrated campaigns, with expertise in research/insights, strategy, positioning, channel/content planning, deployment, and measurement.
- Understand a client’s business objectives and clearly make the connection between client business goals and digital and social media recommendations. Provide sound business justification for investment (based on market trends, audience insights, past campaign data, and past experiences).
- Research and stay up-to-date on digital and social media trends, platforms, developments, and vendors. Cultivate relations with leading digital and social media platforms. Strive to become a subject matter expert on engagement and digital trends.
- Maintain strong partnerships throughout Syneos Health and align digital and social media strategy and execution with account team strategy and execution.
- Generate results that have a positive, measurable impact for our clients.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in digital and social media strategy at an agency or corporate in-house (healthcare experience required).
- Strong ability to deliver persuasive, evidence-based counsel for client communications and marketing teams.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams that are both large and small and interact with different people on a daily basis (including clients).
- Maintain and keep abreast of current and emerging digital and social media technology and platforms, particularly those with implications in the healthcare industry.
- Knowledge of the rules and regulations related to the pharma industry.
- An energetic team player with a collaborative spirit and the ability to influence and unify direct teams and peers. Ability to interact effectively as a strategic partner with senior agency management.
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, digital/social media platforms and tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Twitter Insights, Twitter Ads, Hootsuite or other SMMTs, Google Analytics, etc.). Experience with generative AI tools is a plus but not a requirement.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $150k to $170k. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
