Work Designation. Depending on your location within the continental US, this role may be hybrid or remote.

  • If you live within 50 miles of the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA this role will be hybrid. This means you will be expected to work in the office for at least 60% of the work week. You will work from your home (within the continental US) for the remaining portion of the work week. Details of this schedule will be discussed with your leadership.
  • If you live more than 50 miles from the Aflac offices located in Columbus, GA this role will be remote. This means you will be expected to work from your home, within the continental US. If the role is remote, there may be occasions that you are requested to come to the office based on business need. Any requests to come to the office would be communicated with you in advance.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to manage interactions with internal and external partners; also, in the creation of decks derived from various research and analyses of brand marketing programs and the market environment; Possess skills in tailoring messages in a manner that relates and resonates to different audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Eight years of professional job-related work experience
  • Four years of management experience
  • Three to five years’ experience in brand marketing; previous experience working as Brand Manager at the senior level.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Leads brand activities and initiatives to include strategic brand planning, brand ideation, market research, financial analysis, and KPI development.
  • Oversees the team’s development of brand positioning and communication strategies.
  • Initiates the execution of brand projects from consultation to delivery.
  • Collaborates with external agencies and internal stakeholders to ensure brand consistency and timely execution of marketing initiatives through project prioritization and strategic decision making.
  • Monitors and reports performance against KPIs; Identifies opportunities and concerns to drive growth and profitability.
  • Manages all brand initiatives and communications and acts a primary information source for the department in relation to brand portfolios.
  • Works to influence positive consumer brand experience and the business’s goals through enhanced consumer acquisition and retention.
  • Motivates, coaches, and develops team; provides consistent and constructive feedback to employees; trains, develops, or identifies employees’ training and resource needs; maintains employee records regarding to performance and attendance, and establishes priorities.

This compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to Aflac at the time of the posting. Compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each case. This salary range does not include any potential incentive pay or benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $185,000.
