Purpose/Mission

  • Reporting to the Senior Sales Steering Manager, the Strategic Planning Analyst will support the implementation of Strategic Planning Process in NAM; with a focus in US, they will execute the collection and analysis of the market data to assist on the strategic initiatives’ definition.

Key Accountabilities

Impact on Business

  • Supervise customer maintenance including FIC alignment, primary/secondary account assignment and customer value map.
  • Support the annual sales planning, collaborating closely with finance and sales leadership to assign targets. With the supervision from the Sales Steering Manager, engage with sales leadership to devise industry segments and sales teams’ plans, including account plans for top strategic customers.
  • Owner of the US sales structure maintenance, keeping sales budgets and portfolio assignments up to date.
  • Design and update of the analytical tools for the establishment of the quantitative targets for the sales teams.
  • Overall support of Strategic Marketing and Business Excellence in NAM, covering USA, Canada, and Mexico, with a focus on US initiatives.
  • Market Intelligence programs assistance, extracting data from our BI tools to periodically refresh performance dashboards and deep dive presentations.
  • Assist with the Market Research initiatives for NAM, analysing internal and external data to provide insights and recommendations about opportunities for growth.

Educational Background

  • BS degree in Marketing/Analytics/Scientific/Engineering discipline.
  • Highly self-motivated with a track record of taking ownership; strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to synthesize information into key messages appropriate for the audience.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to work cooperatively and forge relationships across multiple business areas; demonstrated project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Professional Knowledge And Experiences

  • 3-5 years of business experience and/or educational experience working in a strategic planning, marketing, analytics, or business/market intelligence
  • Excellent knowledge & business experience with MS Excel, PowerApps, PowerPoint; knowledge of VBA, Python and/or other programming platforms.

Salary Range: $79,265 – $99,081
