Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We’re looking for a Talent Marketing Specialist who can talk technology through narratives about our employees and culture, train others to employ social media and other platforms to attract key talent, run marketing campaigns across the globe, put a gold star on our talent acquisition materials and make our talent narrative shine twice as bright as the sun.

In this position, you’ll report to the Director of Internal Communications and Talent Marketing to support the execution of our talent narrative both externally and internally. You’ll act as the liaison to Communications, Brand, Product Marketing, Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and other functions within the company to position KLA as a best place to work. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of marketing strategies, an eye for finding the real story buried in metrics and data, the strive to own and run sophisticated projects, and experience working for a global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Support KLA’s global talent marketing strategy.
  • Develop and drive resources for recruiters and hiring managers to deliver KLA’s talent narrative – consistently and in a way that connects with the outstanding individuals we want to hire and retain.
  • Work cross-functionally to deploy and build advocacy for our talent narrative throughout the entire employee lifecycle, supporting internal and external campaigns that cultivate a positive employee experience.
  • Coordinate digital, social and traditional media initiatives to ensure talent marketing materials are engaging, relevant and on brand, with a focus on measurement and return on investment.
  • Build a marketing calendar to identify and track global campaigns.
  • Establish key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of employer marketing initiatives. Analyze data and feedback to continuously optimize and refine.
  • Leverage metrics to continuously evolve and optimize KLA’s Careers website, showcasing our values and operating principles.
  • Explore new opportunities to elevate KLA’s marketing efforts by researching our industry peers and identifying better processes.
  • Coordinate and lead our library of digital assets for recruiting on a user-friendly SharePoint site and find opportunities for new content.
  • Coordinate all content management, which may include writing and editing, and the management of design and translation services.
  • Supply content and expertise to social channel engagement and reputation channels (Glassdoor, LinkedIn, local reputation channels).

Preferred Qualifications

  • An eye for design.
  • Intermediate to advanced SharePoint skills.
  • Data-driven approach and experience with measurement tools and standard processes.
  • Experience handling digital asset libraries.
  • Experience writing or editing tech content for a general audience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 5 years of experience in marketing and/or communications, or equivalent years of work experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Positive, collaborative demeanor able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously with a strong attention to detail.
  • Expertise with social media platforms, digital content creation and project management.
  • Experience crafting and influencing marketing campaigns, optimizing in-flight content and digital experiences, and reporting results.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office software: PowerPoint, Word, Excel and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work on site at our Ann Arbor campus; this is not a fully remote position.
