Position Summary
Own and optimize the coordination and execution of product and technical marketing strategies across the entire spectrum of the company’s diverse product portfolio.
Convert technology/products into tangible customer value and create use cases/solutions that solve real business problems then enable the sales teams and partners to sell that value effectively and consistently.
Collaborate with a broad set of varied stakeholders across the Company, including the General Managers (GMs) of all product groups (BIG-IP, NGINX, Distributed Cloud Services) and their product management teams, sales management as well as all levels of sellers, and the F5 Data, Marketing, and Customer Engagement (DMCE) team.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Closely align with the GMs and product management teams of all F5 product groups to understand business goals and help formulate + adjust go-to-market strategy.
- Understand the roadmap for all product groups and co-lead the strategy for when and how to most effectively launch new products and end-of-life others as needed.
- Drive the development of the overall go-to-market plan and partner with marketing, sales and channel organizations on core strategies to capture and convert demand to achieve the goals in the go-to-market plan.
- Participate directly with each product marketing team in creating and updating the positioning + messaging associated with each product group.
- Ensure the core deliverables of each product marketing team are meeting the enablement and training needs of the sales team overall and by each theater/region — including messaging, naming, sales tools and collateral, case studies, and sales / partner training.
- Enable the technical marketing engineering (TME) team and ensure it creates impactful designs, solution architectures, technical collateral, demos and tools to drive customer and sales team success at the technical level.
- Lead the team that evaluates competitive vendors and develops competitive positioning and sales + technical tools to consistently win in the marketplace.
- Serve as a key spokesperson regarding F5 products in engaging with analysts, media and other industry influencers; co-lead analyst relations strategy for each product group.

The annual U.S. base pay range for this position is: $285,225.00 – $427,837.00
