Suzy
Suzy is looking for a dynamic and experienced VP, Product Marketing to lead and shape our go-to-market efforts for our core and new products. This role is responsible for creating materials that drive revenue with potential buyers, current customers and train & enable internal Sales and Customer Success. These teams use their understanding of the product and knowledge of the market, customers, and competitors to clearly explain the unique value the product brings. You will ensure the product is presented in a clear way that highlights its benefits to customers, set and communicate our product’s positioning, key value-based messages, and buyer insights to cross-functional teams.
You will report directly to the EVP, Marketing & Communications collaborating closely with the Chief Product Officer, Chief Customer Officer, and other key stakeholders around go-to-market strategy, messaging, and enablement.
Responsibilities
- Identify the buyer personas and target audience for our product
- Ensure our product meets the needs of our target audience
- Successfully create and execute a product marketing strategy and go-to-market plans for all platform product launches, feature updates and improvements
- Partner with Product Managers and the Chief Customer Officer to develop comms that will attract the right customers and drive adoption and usage with our existing customers
- Determine your product’s positioning in the market
- Ensure our product remains relevant over time
- Serve as a product expert from the customer POV
- Manage the demand and execution of internal and external sales enablement collateral and training
- Launch products, introduce features, and expand into new markets
- Work with Product to coordinate the timing of all the cross-functional activities required to release new products and features
- Translate functionality into marketing messages that resonate with clients, drives sales and usage
- Conduct competitive analysis
- Manage an Associate Director, work with the VP, Marketing on Customer strategy as well as Creative & Production to execute deliverables
Qualifications
- 12+ years’ experience in product marketing
- B2B and SaaS or Software experience is a MUST, Market Research experience is strongly preferred
- 5+ years management experience
- Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities and adhere to internal timelines and deadlines when needed
- Experienced working with and presenting to senior management
