Buy more vegetables and meat from your local farmers and butchers. They’re usually free from additives and adulteration
When you do that, you won’t have many options left except to cook — and that’s the healthiest change you can make.
Keep in mind that local is great but check what is inside and how it is made:
- How clean their shop/storage is
Whether they allow you to see the meat openly
Freshness indicators (color, smell, texture)
Whether they explain their sourcing
Ingredients
Additives
Preservatives
Processing method
