What You’ll Do

Lead Americold's demand generation and marketing operations strategy to increase market awareness, strengthen customer engagement, support commercial growth, and build a scalable marketing engine. Partner closely with Business Development, Revenue Operations, Operations, and Communications to develop integrated campaigns, optimize marketing technology platforms, establish lead management processes, and deliver measurable business results. Lead a team responsible for events, creative services, digital marketing, and marketing technology while advancing Americold's evolution toward a world-class marketing function.

Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies that support customer acquisition, account growth, and commercial objectives
  • Partner with Revenue Operations to establish and optimize lead lifecycle processes, marketing-to-sales handoffs, lead scoring models, and campaign attribution frameworks
  • Build account-based marketing (ABM) programs targeting strategic accounts and priority growth segments
  • Oversee Americold's marketing technology ecosystem, including marketing automation, CRM integrations, lead management workflows, reporting platforms, and website technologies
  • Develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, events, content marketing, email marketing, paid media, and industry programs
  • Create and maintain dashboards that connect marketing activity to engagement, pipeline development, and business outcomes
  • Partner with Business Development leadership to identify customer needs and develop marketing programs that support growth objectives
  • Lead development of customer-facing marketing materials, industry-specific campaigns, case studies, presentations, and solutions-based content
  • Manage Americold's digital marketing strategy, including website optimization, campaign performance, user experience, and conversion initiatives
  • Establish marketing performance metrics, governance processes, and reporting mechanisms to support data-driven decision making
  • Lead and develop marketing team members responsible for events, creative services, and marketing technology
  • Manage external agencies, consultants, and vendors to ensure effective execution and return on investment
  • Develop annual marketing plans, budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation recommendations
  • Monitor industry trends, customer insights, competitive activity, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with Communications, Public Relations, and Corporate Marketing leaders to ensure alignment with enterprise priorities and brand standards
  • Perform other duties as required

What Experience and Education You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience with responsibility for demand generation, marketing operations, digital marketing, or commercial marketing
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching and developing marketing professionals
  • Experience managing marketing automation platforms, CRM integrations, and marketing technology ecosystems
  • Experience developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns with measurable business outcomes
  • Experience working closely with sales, commercial, business development, or revenue teams
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, agency relationships, and external vendors
  • Strong understanding of marketing analytics, campaign measurement, attribution, and reporting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

What Could Set You Apart

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, manufacturing, industrial services, or other complex B2B industries
  • Experience implementing or managing HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar marketing and CRM platforms
  • Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) strategies and enterprise sales environments
  • Working knowledge of lead lifecycle management, marketing automation, customer journey mapping, and revenue marketing principles
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Demonstrated success building scalable marketing processes and operational frameworks
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions without direct authority
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Experience managing organizational change, process improvement, and marketing transformation initiatives
  • Exceptional project management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to delivering results
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders ranging from frontline associates to executive leadership

Physical Requirements

  • Requires several hours per day of sitting, getting up and down from chairs, reaching, and/or bending
  • Requires manual dexterity with normal hand and finger movements for typical office work, including the operation of computers, telephones, and similar equipment
  • Requires ability to comprehend and communicate with others verbally and/or in writing
  • May require travel by automobile and airplane for business
  • May require visits to warehouse operations in temperatures at or below freezing
  • May require the occasional lifting, carrying, positioning, and/or moving of objects weighing up to 20 pounds
