About the Role

ESPN Milwaukee Marketing Consultant (Account Executive)(Milwaukee, WI)Good Karma Sports is seeking an experienced, results-driven

Marketing Consultant to join our

ESPN Milwaukee sales team. As the flagship home of the Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, Wisconsin Badgers and Marquette Golden Eagles, along with local sports and talk programming including Jen, Gabe & Chewy and Wilde & Tausch, ESPN Milwaukee connects brands with highly engaged audiences across multiple platforms.

We are looking for a motivated sales professional who is passionate about building relationships and helping local and regional businesses grow. As a Marketing Consultant, you will develop new business, build long-term relationships with advertising partners and create customized marketing solutions utilizing ESPN Milwaukee and Good Karma Sports assets across audio, digital, social, video, live sports and events.

Career responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities throughout the Milwaukee market and State of Wisconsin.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective partners while identifying opportunities for continued growth.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of ESPN Milwaukee and Good Karma Sports assets, audiences and marketing opportunities.
  • Create customized, multi-platform marketing solutions utilizing audio, digital, social, video, live sports, events and other ESPN Milwaukee and Good Karma Sports assets.
  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that align marketing strategies with partner goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution and fulfillment of partner campaigns.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity and local market opportunities.
  • Consistently work toward individual and team revenue goals through new business development and growth of existing partnerships.
  • Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to improve new business outreach, partner research, campaign development, communication and sales effectiveness while maintaining a high level of personalization and partner interaction.
  • Be a Good Karma Sports ambassador by adhering to our core values: Listen, Be Honest, Work Hard, Over Deliver, Teamwork and Follow Through.

Preferred knowledge, skills and qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the Milwaukee market, sports media or advertising sales.
  • Experience selling play-by-play/live sports and/or existing relationships with advertisers who target sports content preferred.
  • Strong network and relationships within the Milwaukee business community.
  • Goal-oriented and creative self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and strong follow-through.
  • Strong communication, organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative teammate who can work effectively as part of a team and independently, with a willingness to seek, accept and provide feedback.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office and emerging technology.
  • With this career, you are required to hold a valid driver’s license

Hours/Salary/Benefits

This is an exempt role with a competitive base salary plus commission. Actual compensation will be based on experience, skills and performance expectations.

This role is eligible for full benefits to include health, dental, vision, Life Insurance, STD, LTD, 401(k) Plan, Dependent Care, paid parental leave and more, with opportunities for compensation growth based on skills, responsibilities and performance. The position will be required to work some evenings and weekends for events and games.
