Davis carries on that tradition through its digital, print, and online products for students, educators, and clinicians in Nursing and the Health Sciences around the globe.

Position Summary:

FA Davis is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to develop, edit, and manage marketing content that supports our nursing and health professions products. This role combines strong writing and proofreading skills with project management to ensure marketing materials are clear, accurate, on brand, and delivered on time.

The Marketing Content Specialist will work closely with Product Marketing Managers and partners across Editorial, Sales, Digital Marketing, and Design to move projects from initial concept through final production. Minimum Qualifications/Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Publishing, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience in content development, marketing communications, publishing, copywriting, or a related role.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to take product information and turn it into clear, customer-friendly marketing copy.
  • Experience with publishing, education, healthcare, or educational technology is a plus.
  • Must be able to work remotely within the Eastern Time Zone. Key Duties and Responsibilities:Writing & Content Development - Write and edit marketing copy for print and digital materials.
  • Develop copy for brochures, product collateral, web pages, emails, sales materials, and other marketing communications.
  • Write and coordinate in-book marketing materials, including front and back matter and promotional pages.
  • Adapt product positioning and messaging for different audiences and formats.
  • Help tell clear, compelling product and customer stories. Editing & Proofreading - Proofread marketing materials for grammar, spelling, consistency, accuracy, and brand standards.
  • Review final materials before publication or production.
  • Ensure product information, terminology, pricing, URLs, and other details are accurate and consistent.
  • Maintain a consistent FA Davis voice across marketing materials. Project Management - Manage content projects from initial request through review, approval, and production.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals with Product Marketing, Editorial, Design, Digital Marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Track multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to keep projects moving and identify potential delays. Education/Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree required Reporting to this position: N/A Physical demands and work environment: - Work conducted in a home office setting
  • High-speed internet access (at least 25 mbps download and 5 mbps upload) that must be reliable, available, accessible, and secure to successfully work from home.
  • Regular communication through verbal, written, visual, and auditory means
  • Attendance of virtual meetings, including “camera on” meeting requirements
  • Frequent sitting, computer work
  • Repetitive movement of hands and fingers – typing and/or writing
  • Limited travel may be required for company/team events
